    CoCanberra exists to invent, facilitate, implement and support resilient ways of providing our basic needs, while: - Recognising the natural limits inherent to the places we live and work in - Designing our systems within those limits - Providing equality amongst all humans - Providing a fair and decent life for all We are in the early stages of building the cooperative economy in our local region. We are at various stages of development in renewable energy (PrePower Coop), Community Owned Farming, and a Trades Coop.

    enkel is a collective of people from various backgrounds, who share the belief that we need new approaches and more people to address the problems of today and tomorrow. Our mission is to create a new generation of changemakers in WA. We do this through hosting events & workshops, supporting early-stage social enterprises, running social innovation labs, and much more. enkel is a member-owned co-operative based on do-ocracy, i.e. individuals choose roles and tasks for themselves and execute them. We are open to new members, who want to work towards brighter futures for WA and our planet.

    The Organic and Regenerative Investment Co-operative is an innovative organisation, focussed on bringing together farmers, eaters and like-minded investors. ORICoop exists to nurture and increase the amount and the productivity of organically and regeneratively managed land in Australia. While supporting farmers to be better land stewards of our delicate ecological food system. We believe that healthy soil leads to healthy waterways, better food, resilient farmers & stronger communities. We work with organic and biodynamic farms and support farmers to transition their agricultural businesses for the better. We bring together farmers, investors and eaters who are interested in long term investment pathways. That creates a more resilient Australian food and farming economy that can change the way our farmers do business … for the better!

    Pachamama is a community managed co-work hub that harnesses the energy and innovation of local people working for social and environmental justice in Newcastle and the Hunter region. Pachamama is a community resource centre and an incubator for people and groups working for social change. We believe in the power and spirit of collaboration, creativity and drive, and seek to provide the space, relationships, inspiration and knowledge to direct these to lasting and sustainable impact across generations. Pachamama House will act as a regional innovation cluster that catalyses and animates local capacities, skills and spark in pursuit of a better world.

    We teach an online degree in co-operative management and organisation. It comprises four units and can be taken over one year. We are also involved in different research projects on different aspects relating to co-operatives (Legal, education, demutualisation, agricultural and housing co-operatives).
