The East Gippsland two day symposium will bring together a wide range of people, to share, learn and discuss what an economic system can look like in East Gippsland, that’s built on ecological health and social justice.  Fair work, healthy food, vibrant ecosystems and happy, healthy humans—that’s what the new economy is all about.

We invite all prospective participants to be creative with your proposals. Although we have invited some speakers in advance, the final programme will depend upon what you submit. We’re interested in hearing your stories about setting up social businesses, creating sustainability projects, changing to organic or sustainable production processes, shifting to regenerative agriculture and much more.

Everyone who is accepted to give a talk or participate in the symposium is required to register to attend, to help pay for the costs of running the event.
