webinars 2021

Join NENA’s Youth Hub for a presentation and interactive ‘Purpose Lab’, followed by a Q&A session

The NENA Youth Hub is hosting its very first event for everyone who teaches, works with, mentors, supports, or is, 13-21 years old.

Now more than ever we need our young people to feel excited and optimistic about their potential, and their future. Unfortunately, with challenges such as climate change, COVID, housing unaffordability and employment and financial inequities, young people often struggle to find their way.

Purpose Labs empower young people to find their purpose, uncover their potential and explore new possibilities. They can reduce anxiety by helping people gain clarity of purpose and experiment with new projects.

Purpose help young people tap into what they’re good at, what you love, what the world needs and how to make a living from it. When these four things collide, anything is possible and opportunity is everywhere.

Carolyn Tate, Purpose Educator and author of The Purpose Project

Who is this webinar for? Young people (aged 13+), Parents, Principals, Coordinators, Deputy Principals, Careers Advisers, Teachers, Youth Community Leaders, Youth Mentors – and anyone who supports or works with young people.
What is a Purpose Lab? This webinar will include an introductory session to Purpose Labs; a nine-week series of classes that empowers students to explore their purpose, design a project and turn it into action with the support of a mentor and peers.
