Author: John August

John August has long had an interest in economic and other injustice, the nature of economics, and the way it plays out in Australia.  He's had a long time interest in human rights and the notion of property, and in particular the abuses which have developed around so-called "intellectual property".  John has been involved in Pirate Party Australia for some time, where its endorsement of the worth of the individual combined with challenging over-reach by both business and government along with its considered view on intellectual property has definite appeal.
