Oliver wrote a dissertation on the structural challenges facing worker cooperatives in Australia, as part of a Masters in Political Economy at the University of Sydney. He currently works for the Department of Finance in the Australian Public Service. He is also involved with the CPSU and the Climate Justice Collective/Green New Deal Australia group.
