The public release of the Foundation Paper for a NSW Wellbeing Budget is a fantastic step forward for Wellbeing Economies in Australia!
This foundation paper is a platform on which to build a wellbeing economy in NSW.
What’s next?
This is just the start. The Foundation Paper supports the pilot phase within the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE). Now the plan is to:
- continue having conversations with everyone interested in progressing a NSW Wellbeing Framework and Budget;
- develop a preliminary framework focusing on DPE’s areas of responsibility;
- develop a strategy for expansion, engagement, and data management.
Meanwhile, we would welcome any comments on the Foundation Paper, and any ideas or offers of support to keep things moving.
